I had so much fun during this mini session. Such a great and fun family with little Lola just bursting with personality. I loved being able to capture it for them. Mom was due in a month so naturally we included some maternity shots as well. And how gorgeous was she? Seriously. Perfect baby belly, gorgeous and fun family, great light. I really loved this session.

My first little gender reveal! When I found out my best friend was pregnant, naturally I was thrilled for her, but after that faded all I kept thinking was “oh the things we can do during her pregnancy!” (is that normal? I assume for fellow photogs it’s a normal reaction…Yea, I’ll go with that…) So I’ve photographed her bump a few times so far, but I also wanted to do a fun gender reveal! We kept it simple, but still fun! Here’s a little share from our gender reveal session.

I love maternity photography. At all stages, pregnancy is such a fun and beautiful stage to photograph and document.

Sometimes you wait so long for that bump that you just want to document all the stages. Sometimes it’s not even your own bump, but belongs to your best friend. Either way, it’s special. This is just a peek at the little belly. It’s still early so there will be more to come.

Nothing is more fun that a maternity session. Beautiful pregnant woman with lovely bellies and that certain glow. This couple is getting ready to celebrate the birth of their first child, which brought an extra little bit of love and excitement to the session. Kim came with lots of ideas for fun things she wanted, so we incorporated her ideas into the session.
