Happy Valentine’s Day! | Lehigh Valley PA Child and Family Photographer

As a photographer, I think Valentine’s Day pictures are super fun to plan! However, my 7.5yr old son rarely wants to be involved because, although he likes the candy and treats part of Valentine’s Day, he tends to think it can be “girly” (ah, boys). So after pleading with him and a mini fit about not wanting a “pink” background {gasp!} I rethought my idea and convinced him to come outside with me for this…

I’m so glad I convinced him because that’s one of my favorite Valentine’s Day pictures I’ve taken! He thinks it’s pretty neat too, even though all I got from him was a unimpressed “cool” response.

Hey, I’ll take it. 🙂

My daughter was much easier to convince. In fact, she still asks me daily if we can go outside and do it again.

And since it’s Valentine’s day, I’ll share what my daughter wanted as her Valentines. She (along with most other little girls -and moms!) is completely obsessed with Frozen. I was not able to find Frozen Valentine’s in the store, so we made our own. She is SO HAPPY with how they turned out.
