Red Tail Hawk | Easton PA Photography

Meet our local hawk. And by local I mean he literally hangs near our house and we see him flying overhead daily. He’s pretty cute isn’t he? I mean, when you overlook the whole “snags-baby-animals-to-eat” thing. But that’s nature right? Or so my husband tells me when I snark at this hawk for being mean. 🙂

You can imagine the surprise my husband (and dog) experienced this morning when going outside for the morning dog walk. The hawk decided it would be a great way to say good morning by practically buzzing my husbands head. He then landed on our backyard fence and stayed there all morning.

What’s a photographer to do? Get her camera naturally. At first I was a little worried about what he would do, but it turns out he just stared at me the whole time.

“S’up?”

He is kinda cute. And huge.
